Mines

With over 9 years of experience, ELISTA EXIM has developed to become one of the largest end-to-end processing units, providing services ranging from mining to production, packaging, and export of natural stones.

Mining is the first and most significant industrial process. The process begins with the mining of raw granite from the earth's crust in large, heavy blocks. Granite slabs are typically found in quarries near the earth's surface. The granite is revealed by drilling or blasting away the earth layers and undesired stones or dirt, then extracted from the ground using an open cast. Furthermore, these large slabs are divided into little rectangular parts and transported for processing.

Granite Mine

ELISTA EXIM has many black granite quarries in the Chimakurthy, area of Andhra Pradesh. Absolute Black, Copper Black, and other granites have been extracted from our quarries. They are one-of-a-kind, with consistent colour, texture, and gloss. They have high density, durability, low porosity, enhanced flexural strength, and are less acid-sensitive.

Factories

ELISTA EXIM has 3- fully operational manufacturing units. The big blocks extracted from mines are processed and transformed into one gorgeous stone as per the customer's specifications.

How are the Granites Processed ?

  • Large blocks of stone taken from our quarries are chopped into smaller pieces using enormous gang saws. The slabs are then polished on one side and packed with similar-sized ones from the same piece before being placed onto containers for shipment to industries.

  • Chipping separates each slab's surface from its neighbours before being transferred to an edge cutting machine. This painstaking technique removes any rough edges or flaws before sending them for final polishing to achieve a flawless finish.

  • Granites are made more appealing by adding colour and pattern. There is a limitless range of colors, patterns, and textures to pick from, which we can combine to your tastes for the best finish possible--all while blending epoxy chemicals into one gorgeous stone!
